Broadband Rev 0 Results Run with a Sierra 580 Rev 0 Air Card These results were run from Lancaster, Pa. at about 2:00 in the afternoon in April 2006.  Having traveled to other states, and run the same speed tests, sometimes they produce similar results, other times results may be slower, by as much at 50%.  Again, time of day, traffic, and a whole host of other things can cause the connection to slow down.  At the bottom of the page is the Sprint connection manager, which shows what the connection looks like when in a broadband area.  Notice the arrows pointing upwards and downwards.  Note that these results are in kilobits per second.  Actual downloading of files will be about 8 - 10 % of this and will be in KiloBytes per second.
