We took a walk this morning, and what kept coming to mind was, "Chuck, you are missing the time of your life".  As Garrison Keeler once said, "it's not important what you eat, it's more important who you eat with",  so too, "it's not important what you rv in, it's more important that you rv in something".  The drive, the jouney, the destination, are far more important, than what you drive to get there.

Here is a good one that we heard while in Texas.  This is a song sung by Kenny Rogers.

Kenny Rogers - Baseball Song Lyrics

Little boy, in a baseball hat,
Stands in a field, with his
ball and bat, says "I am the greatest,
player of them all" puts his bat on his shoulder,
 and tosses up his ball.

And the ball goes up, and the ball comes
down, he swings his bat all the way around,
and the worlds so still you can hear the sound
as the baseball falls, to the ground.

Now the little boy, doesn't say a word,
picks up his ball, he is undeterred,
Says "I am the greatest, there has ever
been," and he grits his teeth, and tries it again.

And the ball goes up, and the ball comes down,
he swings his bat all the way around,
and the worlds so still you can
hear the sound as the baseball falls,
 to the ground.

He makes no excuses, He shows no fear,
He justcloses his eyes, and listens to the cheers.

Little boy, he adjusts his hat
picks up his ball, stares at his
bat, says "I am the greatest, the game is on the line,"
and he gives his all, one last time.

And the ball goes up, like the moon so bright,
Swings his bat, with all his might,
and the worlds as still, as still as can be,
and the baseball falls, and that's strike three.

Now its supper time, and his Mama calls,
little boy starts home, with his bat and ball,
says "I am the greatest, that is a fact,
but even I didn't know, I
could pitch like that."

Says, "I am the greatest,
that is understood,
but even I didn't know, I could
pitch that good."
Ya just gotta love it.  Always a different viewpoint, ya know.......Anyway, I have a few pictures that I took in the campground, and have posted them for tonight.  We will be moving again tomorrow.  Headed for New Jersey, and another Thousand Trails.  Will stay there until Tuesday morning, and then head back to Pa.  Have reservations at the Hershey Thousand Trails starting on Tuesday for 2 weeks.  So, we will try to get an early start tomorrow morning, since it is going to be a good day of driving for us.  So, think I'll end it for tonight, and get to bed.  Later.

They've apparantly figured out how to get some major power out of these small tow vehicles.!!

Ah, yes, the moose decorations.

Casita from the right side.

Notice the wheel well that is a moulded part of the body.  Really cool.  You don't see many built like this.

Casita from the left side.

The fiberglass molded wheel wells, sure would cut down on water infiltration.

No words needed.

Kinda self explanatory.

The goose in the foreground has a green beak from sticking it in the water.

You can't see it very well, but the ranger station is just ahead in the center of the road.

I don't quite understand this, but someone likes to bring their exercise bike.  Hey, whatever.

Saw this on our walk this morning, and thought it was cute.

Apparantly, this guy likes to have plenty of firewood on hand.
