No pictures today.  I'll just ramble on for a little bit.  We had an unusual one this morning.  We had intended to walk this morning, so I had the alarm set for early.  Our alarm is a clock radio, set for the radio to come on, to wake us up.  We were asleep this morning when the radio came on.  Unfortunately, the timing was not very good.   Apparantly, I had the volume a little louder than normal, and the first thing that we heard when the radio came on, was a bugle - you know, like the bugle you see on tv when the Army wants to get the troops up first thing in the morning.  Let me tell you, when the volume is a little too high on the radio, it sounds just like someone is standing right outside blowing a !@#$%^&* bugle for all their worth.  In less than 1 second, we both went from fast asleep, to wide awake.  I haven't seen Sherry move that fast out of bed, that early in the morning, for a long time.  After gathering our senses, we looked outside, and as it was just starting to thunder and lightening, we decided to bring in the stuff holding down the mat outside the Motor Home, then rolled up the mat, and brought it inside.  About 30 seconds later, the rain began.  We just made it in time.  After coming inside, looking out through the windows, at the rain, we just decided that we're going back to bed, which we did.  Figuring that it would be a waste of time, after our rude awakening, we laid down anyway.  About 1 1/2 hours later we got up, both having to use the facilities.  At that point in time, it's just time to stay up and consume some breakfast.  We had our usual high fiber breakfast of Total with raisins, and then decided to relax.  While sitting here watching it rain, we noticed our one neighbor outside and both cracked up laughing.  It seems that yesterday, he was outside cleaning and polishing his Motor Home and the vehicle he tows behind the Motor Home.  This morning, in the rain mind you, this guy is outside with an umbrella, and a water hose washing off the vehicle he tows.  It looked soooo funny.  What he was doing, which actually made sense, was rinsing off the car, which had pine-like needles on it, that fall off of the Cedar trees.  It just look really funny in the rain with a water hose in one hand, and an umbrella in the other.  It rained for a few hours this morning, and finally cleared up between 10:00 and 11:00 local time.  At that time the temperature was only about 70 degrees.  When the rain stopped, the sun came out and it began to warm up.  High temp today was about 92.  We went outside this afternoon for a couple of hours during the higher temps of the day,  and sat under the awning, reading some literature that we had picked up on our way here.  With a gentle breeze moving, drinking a bottle of cold water, it actually was fairly comfortable. I'll tell ya, low humidity is great.  So, needless to say, we did basically nothing today, no walking, no work, no nuthin.  However, we did have about 4 cups of coffee each, (decaf, thank you), couple of bottles of water, and ate several small meals throughout the day.  That was about it.  Nothing wonderfully exciting, but just one of those interesting days while on vacation.  Hope your day was a good one, and remember, don't turn the alarm clock radio volume too high.
