Well,
we got to get groceries yesterday, and today was wash day. We
took a little walk and carried the wash to the Adult Lounge,
which is where the Laundry is in this campground. Yes, we got our
10,000 steps in today. We also had to fill the fresh water
holding tank. What an exciting day, huh? Since the 4th of
July is this coming weekend, the campground is filling up. People
have been coming in since Monday, and each day they come in, in greater
numbers. This particular campground has 339 available spaces,
including some rental cabins, and as of Wednesday night, there are less
than 49 sites available for reservations. I would imagine that
there will be some last minute reservations later in the week, but the
park may not be completely full. So, we have room, come on
down..... Ok, maybe not. Anyhow, we plan on going to what
is advertised as the Worlds Largest Flea Market. It's about 30
miles or so south of here. It runs the weekend before the first
Monday of the month. Since this coming Monday is the first
Monday, it is this weekend. I think we will spend some time
there, and see if we can rustle up some bargains. Maybe I can
find something to resell on Ebay. Who knows? Anyhow, that
is about it for right now. I did get some of the pictures ready
to post for tonight. I will save some of them for another
night. I guess that is about it. Make sure you pay
attention to the 1st photo tonight. Later. |
New addition to the family. Just call him Shorty...... |
How's this compare to your price of Gas? This was in Sulphur Springs, Texas. |
Here's a house for sale. There is a catch however. See next picture. |
Here's the catch. The house must be moved. |
Here's the Welcome sign. |
Here's City Hall for Sulphur Springs. |
Larger picture of the City Hall. |
This is the sign for a Grocery Store. |
This is typical of a lot of businesses here. Note the use of Steel for the walls and roof. |
Also see quite a bit of this in the South. Bail Bonds all over the place. |
How about an old Chevy. The right hand side of the picture is distorted because of the curvature of the windshield on the Motor Home. |
